Here's what you really need to know: I LOVE coaching. Supporting people on their journey is a fabulous gift in my life and I work hard to be an effective coach. To that end, I've been a student of people my whole life and have consistently worked to operate from my most authentic self – a journey worth a lifetime of effort.
If you're into formal credentials, know that I have a bachelor's in communication studies from Azusa Pacific University and have received my coach-specific training from Coach U and Collaborative Leaders. I am also a member of the International Coach Federation (for whom I lead a small interest group of other 20- and 30-something coaches) and currently serve on the Executive Board of the Philadelphia Area Coaches Alliance.
Prior to discovering coaching and setting up shop in 2006, I dabbled left and right to test for passion and fit. My previous professional life includes a stint in a professional theatre, office manager for an importer of Italian restaurant equipment (the espresso machine in the office was a definite perk!), retail supervisor, sound designer, apartment manager . . . and the list goes on. These varied experiences – combined with "extracurriculers" like singing, traveling and acting – have proven to be a great springboard from which to coach.
I live in Philadelphia with my husband, Scott, and two cats, Malcolm and Niko.
